These are the positions open:
Community Health Worker – looking for someone who loves working with elementary students and teaching health and fitness to youth and families. This position will primary work out of Villarreal Elementary and will support initiatives such as CHEF Bites, Girls on the Run, and a student-led garden.
Part-time Community Health Worker – this position will support our new grant, the CDC’s Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health, in the near-South side of the city working on strategies related to tobacco-free living, breastfeeding promotion, healthy food access, and referrals to community and clinical services.
Region Lead – looking for someone who has a policy-change mindset and is an excellent listener and leader. This position will also support our new grant, the CDC’s Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health, and will be based on the near-East side of the city.
