Patient-Centered Research Training For Community Health Workers

Dear Colleagues,

Northwest Vista’s Community Health Worker Program in collaboration with San Antonio Community Health Workers Association, Día de La Mujer Latina, and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) will be offering 7 hours of DSHS certified CEUs for CHWs, CHWI and CHW students on Saturday, April 20, 2019.

The cost of the program is free.

The agenda will provide comprehensive training on Patient-Centered Outcomes Research. Module Topics: Overview Clinical Studies, Ethics and Human Subjects, Data Collection Methods, Informed Consent Process, Study Protocol & Reporting, and Dissemination of Study Results.

The program will be from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at San Antonio Food Bank. 5200 Enrique M. Barrera Pkwy. San Antonio, TX 78227.

Lunch will be provided.
