Pfizer vaccine will be available for individuals 12 years and Older. The Community Health Worker Program in collaboration with Alamo Colleges District, CommuniCare Health Centers, U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development, San Antonio Housing Authority and San Antonio Community Health Workers Association bring the Pfizer to this community clinic. This will be a Walk-In Clinic , No appointment Required!

In-person training designed to understand vaccine confidence and enhance communication skills. To help with planning purposes, registration is required. Public health measures such as wearing a mask, socially distant seating and COVID-19 symptom screening will be implemented. This training is free of charge, no breakfast will be provided. Northwest Vista College CHW program will be offering a 5-hours of continuing education for CHWs and CHW students. The cost of the program is free. Topics of focus: CHW certification, renewal, workforce development, higher education pathways and panel discussion with local employers on professional development opportunities for CHWs.
