SACHWA in collaboration with Día de La Mujer Latina are working together to offer this helpful resource to San Antonio’s Spanish speaking population.
This is a Spanish phone line where people can call or text to request information to connect with community health resources (clinics, wellness programs, immunizations, health insurance resources). People having difficulty scheduling their doctors’ appointments due to the language barrier or who need help finding and obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine are welcome to call or text.
Local Community Health Workers/Promotores de Salud will answer the calls. Also, If you or your organization would like to share information with us on programming/services that promote physical, mental, and spiritual wellness, you may Email that information to chw.nvca@gmail.com and we will add it to our database.
